I am looking for a gameboy system that plays all of the gameboy drugs without prescription games.

I have a gameboy pocket and want a game that is only available on gameboy and gameboy colour. Will buying pills online these work in a gameboy pocket? I can’t remember if there were separate games for the gameboy pocket or if the original cartridges are still compatible? Many thanks!
