@cledet1219 I didn’t explain me well. When I said metroid I meant Zero Mission. I saw that you have to fight mother brain in both games, so I wanted to know if Zero mission is a remake of metroid or super metroid.
@ImTheSpanish ..no. it’s the first and only location-relevant sequel to metroid. it also came out 15 years ago. and..you didnt know it wasnt a sequel. that disappoints me
The only reason I want this game is for the awesome-looking cutscenes.
i hate how the nintendo dudes in japan almost completely disregard the prime trilogy. retro did so much for metroid and they ignore it just because it’s not in 2-fucking-D. in my eyes the prime trilogy(or at least prime 1) will be more metroid than other m.

@TheMostBleedingHeart Perhaps, but I do agree, maybe Martin just wasn’t the type for dub work. Personally I think they should have just Jen Taylor, I mean she did all the grunts in Metroid Prime for Samus but she’s a veteran voice actor, should have just got her in

@TheMostBleedingHeart The fact she delivers her voice acting as if she’s applying for the role of a robot, I mean sure I’m positive the gasps and squeals are intended to make her slightly more human, but that woman delivers dialogue like a voice synthesiser, just my opinion

@Haydeosmith You do blow Zebes to hell in the first Metroid, you just don’t fully blow the planet up until the end of Super Metroid. In Metroid Prime you can see that planet Zebes still shows on the list of planets. That and there are still regular Metroids, and you eradicate that species in Metroid 2, so the Prime trilogy is inbetween Metroid and Metroid 2 Return of Samus.
