I don’t have a second gameboy to use to send pokemon from leafgreen to ruby. Can I do it using the same gameboy?

No. But if a friend has a game boy you could borrow it.
Also if you have Pokemon Colosseum or XD Gale of Darkness (Game Cube) you could hook your game boy up to the game cube with a link cable.
Trade your leaf green pokemon onto either XD or Colosseum. After that disconnect & put ruby in the game boy. Then trade those pokemon from the game cube onto ruby.
Note: You must have beaten the elite four on both game boy games (Ruby & Leaf green) & have access to a trade center on the game cube (XD or Colosseum).
Sorry its kind of difficult to understand I suppose. Email me if necessary. Hope this helped n_n
It is if you have a gamecube and the gameboy player. The gameboy player i an accessory for the gamecube that lets you play gameboy games on the big screen. You also need the link cable to link the gameboy with the gamecube. It will work but it is easier just to borrow a friends gameboy.
I’m afraid not. You can only trade using 2 gameboys. And trading is the only way to transfer pokemon in that game. If I were you I would just ask a friend and see if you could barrow their GBA
unfortunately, u can do that
but since u have a computer, download a VBA or GBA emulator(they’re the same)
and through the other game until u can trade between the 2 games
you cant send them sorry u need 2 gameboys
but if u have a ds and go on the gba game and have a gba u can still send them
hope i helped
only if you can run both at once…
