Buy some bubble wrap to wrap around the consoles and controllers. Then just put them in a non-cardboard container. Use styrafoam peanuts to pad any leftover spaces.

Get yourself some packing materials and just pack them away so that they are safe. If they are packed away that way the dust should stay off of them. If you have old game cartridges (nintendo, sega etc) it may be best to wrap them indevidually (if you do not have the boxes for them) so that nothing gets inside the cartridge.

Buy big tubs from the store...then place them in there neatly. but why would you want to store them? I would be playing on them 24/7.
