I don’t have a charge for my advanced SP and I have a link cable for it to the gamecube. Will it charge the gameboy if connected to the gamecube?

No, it will not charge your Gameboy Advance SP.
You could probably pick up a cheap SP charger at Gamestop or another gaming store that sells second hand goods. Or you could also look on eBay: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=… there’s a list of them to choose from.
